


Dr. Sadia Chaghtai, President Dr. Sadia Chaghtai lived in Aligarh most of her life before moving to USA. She is a graduate of J.N. Medical College and received her MBBS degree in 1996 and Diploma in Ophthalmology in 1998 from Aligarh. She was actively involved in general education center of AMU and JN Medical College while being in Aligarh. Sadia is very passionate about AAANE and volunteers in many other organizations in Massachusetts these days. She resides currently in Shrewsbury with her family.
Dr. Mohsin Alvi, Vice-President Dr. Alvi received MBBS in 1996 from J.N. Medical College, AMU. He served as the University Secretary for the Music Club in 1995 and General Secretary of the J.N. Medical College Society in 1994. Dr. Alvi achieved his MBA in Medical Services Management from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine completing his residency at the University of Connecticut. He is now employed as the Academic Hospitalist at Saint Vincent Hospital / Worcester Medical Center located in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Mr. Hasan Chowdhary, Treasurer A resident of Sharon, Massachusetts, has achieved a Bachelor of Science and Master Degrees in Physics (1994/1996 respectively). He further obtained his Master Degree in Computer Science and Applications from AMU in 1999. Mr. Chowdhury has also been actively involved in AAANE for the past year, and is currently working in the Information Technology field as an Assistant Vice President in the IT/Investor Technology Services Division in the State Street Corporation.
Dr. Farhan Syed, Secretary Farhan Syed originally hails from Chennai, Tamilnadu. He obtained his Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees in Biochemistry from AMU. He was at Aligarh from 1990-2000. Subsequently he did his post-doctoral training in bone loss associated with aging and disease from the Mayo Clinic. Currently he works as a researcher at Abbott Laboratories located in Worcester, MA and resides with his family at Shrewsbury MA.

Dr. Suhaib Riaz, Executive Member Dr. Suhaib Riaz is an Assistant Professor of Management at University of Massachusetts Boston. He graduated from AMU with a BSc Engineering degree in 1996. He also holds an MBA from IIFT, Delhi, and a PhD from University of Western Ontario, Canada. Suhaib has worked in senior management roles and served as advisor to organizations in US, Canada and India.
